Mighty Roos Star Defenseman Announces Ice Dogs Open Practice

Anthony Wilson, Australia’s and the West Sydney Ice Dogs big hitting defenseman announced today a special invitation for the Mighty Roos Kids Club members. “Since our practices are so late at night, the Ice Dogs will invite all Mighty Roos Kids Club members to our biggest game of the year against the Sydney Bears”, said Anthony. “Admission for the Kids Club members, on the night, will be “FREE” for this huge cross-town rivalry, which takes place on Saturday August 5th”. “Anthony Wilson is known to have the most feared slapshot in the Australian Ice Hockey League, according to former ice hockey referee “Rick Williams”. “Willo is not only a legend on the ice but he is one of the most popular athletes in the Blacktown area”, said Williams. “Anthony and the Wilson family have been instrumental to hockey in Australia for many years”, he said. The West Sydney Ice Dogs are probably the most popular hockey team in the country and promise to have a night the kids will never forget. After the game, there will be a special function for all the Mighty Roos Kids Club members, which includes giveaways and a chance to meet the players. Action starts at 4:30 pm.
