Mini Cyclone hits Rhinos Kids Club Open Practise

The Mighty Roos Kids Club blew into the Central Coast on on Thursday with the biggest turn-out to date. The Central Coast Cyclone Hockey Club, with more Kids Club members than any other Association, had the time of their life, said IHA Director of Marketing, Rick Williams.

The kids started the night in the dressing room with their heroes signing their jumpers, followed by an address from Coach Dunwoodie.

After this, the big surprise was when Rhinos captain Matt Pease invited all the Kids Club members onto the ice to train with the team. In addition, the kids had an extra treat when former Mighty Roo player and President of the Cyclones Adam McGuinness joined the players at training. We had the member's stretch, do drills and basically everything we do in a typical practise, said coach Dunwoodie.

The Kids Club/Cyclones members seemed to enjoy the whole evening as did the parents, said Rhinos captain Matt Pease. But the ones who seemed to enjoy it most were the players, he said.

The Mighty Roos Kids Club would like to thank Erina Ice World, the Blue Haven Rhinos and the terrific people at the Central Coast Cyclones.

The next event takes place at Blacktown on August 5th where Mighty Roo Kids Club members will be admitted into the Bears vs. Ice Dogs match for free.
