21 NOVEMBER 2019 In an exciting step forward for the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) and Ice Hockey Australia (IHA), Australian multi-sport streaming service, Kayo Sports, will stream the league’s ‘Game of the Week’ for the 2019/20 season.
The AWIHL was established in 2007 and is the premier women’s ice hockey league in Australia with five current clubs across Australia, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
The AWIHL ‘Game of the Week’ highlights package will be available to stream on-demand on Kayo throughout the season, from November 2019 to February 2020, including the AWIHL Joan McKowen Cup Final Series.
The package will include 20 minutes of goal-scoring highlights and fast action ice hockey, along with commentary and player interviews.
