Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) is excited to announce an expression of interest for a Head of Player Development, a key role is responsible for the leadership, development and execution of a nationally integrated player development strategy that drives athlete development across all levels of ice hockey in Australia. This voluntary position will play a role in growing and elevating women’s ice hockey from grassroots to high-performance, helping shape a more inclusive and sustainable future for the sport in Australia.
In this position, the HPD will ensure consistency across state associations, provide national leadership in player development best practice, and work closely with Sport Australia, the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) to align with global and domestic standards.
