Expressions of Interest: Australian Women's Ice Hockey League Commissioner

Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) is seeking Expressions of Interest for the Australian Women's Ice Hockey league (AWIHL) Commissioner for the next 2 seasons. The AWIHL Commissioner is the highest-ranking officer of the AWIHL. The primary purpose of the Commissioner role for Ice Hockey Australia is to manage and oversee the league’s operation and strategic activities.

Special Update: Hong Kong, China Joins Youth Pan-Pacific Ice Hockey Series

Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) and Ice Hockey New Zealand (Ice Hockey NZ) are thrilled to announce an exciting development for the upcoming youth international competition. Hong Kong, China Ice Hockey Association will officially join the Series, which will now be known as the Youth Pan-Pacific Ice Hockey Series, taking place at IceHQ in Melbourne, Australia, from October 10 to 13, 2025. The final day, October 13, has been set aside for a full day of finals between the four competing teams.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strategic thinking and practical implementation skills, are an experienced leader and collaborator, and have the time and energy to commit to helping grow IHA. A passion for ice hockey or sport is highly desirable.
