Expressions of Interest - National Para Team C-Pool

Ice Hockey Australia is calling for nominations for the National Para Team C-Pool, to compete at the World Para Ice Hockey Championships held 4-13 December 2026 in Mexico.

We are looking for players who have continued to develop high-performance skills, gameplay, fitness and attitude and who believe that they are ready to perform at this international level of competition. All eligible Para players with on and off ice ability, drive, and commitment to represent Australia at the highest level are encouraged to apply.

Essential IHA Selection Criteria:
Must be a registered member of IHA and/or comply with the Eligibility Requirements to represent Australia, as well as international criteria requirements to play. Must have a valid Australian passport (in process is valid as long as the passport is obtained three (3) months prior to Departure date). 

Costs:

  • While every effort will be made to keep the costs as low as possible, this is a majority player funded campaign.
  • Once the team is selected, the Team Manager will then outline costs involved and payment instalment deadlines.
  • Instalment invoices will be issued.
  • All fees will need to be completely paid before the commencement of the trip.

EOIs must be submitted through the official online form. All interested athletes should ensure they meet eligibility criteria and submit by 31st July 2026 to be considered.
