ICE HOCKEY AUSTRALIA APPOINTS RYAN O’HANDLEY TO THE BOARD AS A DIRECTOR

Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) is pleased to announce that Dr Ryan O’Handley has been appointed as a member of the board and a Director of IHA.

Many of our members may know Ryan through his role as IHA National Player Development Director, which he has held since 2010. Ryan was also Head Coach of the Australian National U20 team (2011-2012), the National Men’s Team (2013-2014) and Head Coach of the Australian Ice Hockey League’s (AIHL) Adelaide Adrenaline from 2011 to 2014.

Ryan is currently an Associate Professor of Veterinary Parasitology at the University of Adelaide with 20 years of research and lecturing experience. Besides excellent hockey credentials, Ryan brings to the IHA Board expertise in financial and strategic planning, grant funding, and high-performance pathway planning and development.

Ryan brings the expertise required to assist IHA in achieving its strategic plan. The Board welcomes and looks forward to working with Ryan.
