2026 CALL FOR DIRECTOR NOMINATION - VACANCIES DUE TO RESIGNATION

Following the recent retirement of a Director, IHA is seeking nominations to fill the vacant Director position. In addition, IHA has created a new Business Operations portfolio, to be led by Veronica Ryan. As a result, we are calling for nominations for the role of Treasurer, who will lead the Finance, Risk & Compliance portfolio. Ms Ryan will continue in this role until a suitable candidate is appointed.

The 2026 IHA Out of Session Nominations Committee will be chaired by Kathy Rogers, and we are also at this stage seeking nominations for the remaining two Nominations Committee positions. Please send through suitable nominations to Kathy Rogers at Kathryn.Rogers@iha.org.au by Friday 22 May 2026. In the absence of any nominations, IHA will select two external people to join the Nominations Committee.

The vacant Director position will require the incumbent to have finance and accounting experience, as well as a willingness to contribute in a hands-on manner, as this role require an extensive time commitment. 

This role will be appointed as an Elected Director for a casual vacancy until the AGM 2026 (anticipated to be October 2026), at which time another process will occur to secure a candidate for a full 3-year term.
