AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE (AWIHL) COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCEMENT
Ice Hockey Australia and the Australian Women's Ice Hockey League are pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Knott as AWIHL Commissioner.
The AWIHL would like to extend its thanks and appreciation to Michaela Fellowes, who previously held the position and guided the league through its recent seasons.

Christian brings a strong background in strategic project management and organizational development. He has a proven track record of bringing stakeholders together, streamlining operations, and building sustainable commercial models in complex environments.
"I’m excited to step into this role during such a pivotal time for women's hockey," Christian said. "The talent we have on the ice is world-class, and my focus beyond just day-to-day operations is to ensure our off-ice and commercial structures match that standard. We want to build a united national league that fully supports our athletes and ultimately helps develop our players for continued success on the World Championship stage.
"My goal during this term is to work collaboratively across the league to solidify our governance frameworks. I want to help build a strong, sustainable platform so that when it’s time to pass the baton, the next generation of leadership has a healthy, well-supported league ready for its next big era of growth."
