Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) is excited to announce an expression of interest for a Head of Coaching Development (HCD). The Head of Coaching Development (HCD) is responsible for the leadership, development and execution of a nationally integrated Coaching development strategy that drives coaching development across all levels of ice hockey in Australia. This role works very closely with the other IHA Directors and appointed Heads.

This role will oversee the execution of the IHA Coaching Development ranging from Grass Roots programs through to the IHA Accreditation and Certification system and National Camps.

The HCD will ensure consistency across state associations, provide national leadership in coaches development best practice, and work closely with Sport Australia, the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) to align with global and domestic standards.

· Relevant certificates, qualifications, and training (hockey and non-hockey related), including a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
