Expression of Interest: Head of Para Ice Hockey (HPIH)

Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) is excited to announce an expression of interest for a Head of Para Ice Hockey (HPIH). The Head of Para Ice Hockey (HPIH) is responsible for the leadership, development and execution of a nationally integrated Para Ice Hockey strategy that drives athlete development across all para levels of ice hockey in Australia. This role works very closely with the High Performance, Player, Coaching and Officiating Heads, IHA Directors and respective subcommittees.

This role will oversee the execution of the IHA Para Ice Hockey Strategy.

The HPIH will ensure consistency across state associations, provide national leadership in Para Ice Hockey best practice, and work closely with Sport Australia, the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), Australian Institute of Sports (AIS) Para Unit, Paralympics Australia, and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) to align with global and domestic standards.
